but seriously, iPods are made by slaves in china with a total maufacturing cost of about $30 + the hdd.

True but doesn't every other company outsource their manufacturing? It can't be helped. Cheap labor = greater profits

I got a good laugh when I ordered my IPOD. I saw the packaging label and it came directly from china.

I've got 26.9GB on my ipod. Lots of that is comprised of Audiobooks though.
