Any tricks for tightening the 22m on top of a front strut tower? The whole shock wants to spin. It's eibach & bilstein sports.

I've used a rattle gun to do it. I also have a large socket (19 and 22mm) that I have used a grinder to flatten 2 sides on, then use a big shifting spanner on it while using a smaller socket or allen key through the middle of the large socket to hold the shock still.

I use a ring spanner on the nut and a shifter to hold the flats on the shock rod.
For you who are guessing: the shock shaft rotates as the nut is tightened not the entire strut!

It needs to be torqued to a modest 44 nm and you suggest an impact gun?
