Hmmm maybe I'll do that with the Erebuni kit and install it myself. I'm thinking of just selling it off... don't have the time to install at a shop :|

VERY interesting.... prep is for sure the most important thing, but for the cost of materials and his effort, those cars looked awesome.
I don't know if I would try it on my car, but it was impressive!

with a roller then followed it with a fine brush, came out looking like it had been sprayed on.

Part of the trick was the paint had a lot of self leveling additives.

Wow. Reading a few page of that it seems to really make sense.. I dont have a beater to try it on but now I'm not afraid to pickup a beater if a good deal comes by.

Can you say.. Drift car project ?!!!!

I think it's a great idea. No stincky mess, no waste. Not that I'd actually do it, but if I ever have the need, I'll certainly think about it.

I've done a Stratocaster guitar and a Les Paul guitar that way, but a car is a lot of real estate to wet sand by hand.

you can get 1000, 1500 and 2000 grit for a DA sander, did it on my truck turned 3 hours into 20 minutes.

I think i might actually be doing this technique this summer

i have lots of time. and i will never ever be able to afford a new paint job.

This is amazing, course ill try it on something else first for practice.

I wonder what colours they have... google time.

Cheers

Jeff, I think this is the stuff they are talking about, not your page. This is for metals:

This settles it, I'm going to do that 2002 track car project. Have just the beater as the base. Won't need all thos "n" coats though.
