When i apply the brakes my car wobbles, especially when alot of force is applied as im going from a faster speed to a stop....
What does this mean???
warped rotors?
cheers

Warped rotors or thrust arm bushings, probably.

I thought that our rotors almost never warp and the wobble was because the rotors are not smooth and/or there is acutall pad material on the rotor itself.

my last set of new rotors didnt actually warp but the thickness varied around the rotor causing a major shimmy upon braking at all speeds, new rotors fixt all but the 55-65 shimmy which was worn thrust arm bushings.

Depends how violently the wobble is. Perhaps it's the control arms or bearing? Most likely culprit though is messed rotors. Bring it to a trusted shop and have them see. Maybe just a resurface will do.

Fair enough Jeff. I think McWatters thrust arm bushings are okay though becasue his problem is only under braking that its shaking.
This article is correct, right? (http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wp_warped_brakedisk.shtml)

Exactly Chris, I ruined mine from the bedding procedure and had to get new ones.

I believe that rotors can warp, and it usually caused by improperly torqued wheels. Whatever the case, its probably the rotors or thrust arms. Thrust arms start wobbling first on braking, then in normal driving.

Hopefully mine is thrust arms....
Mine happens also when you hit bumps in the road, it causes the same effect as stepping on the brakes. Whole frotnend of the car i shskaing, violently, feeling like the wheels going to fall off.

I know I've at least seen the purple/blue ones for E34. They also coat them in red and black....and I'm sure many other colors.

I knwo Ground Control came on a buddies car Purple.
Not to sure tho. I thought normally companies used one colour per spring. Not E34 springs come in whatever colour you want, different colour = different spring/spring rate.
