The crap that Spelling and his ilk perpetrated is broadcast all over the globe, and probably accounts for much of the anti-Americanism that we suffer: Many people around the planet see such TV garbage and so think Americans are like the sickos that Spelling showcased.
I don't give a flying crap about TV one way or another. What could the guy have done to get these sort of statemants?

hehehe... like you said... subjective... but as long as you have will and determination, you can become anything you want to be here. Crippling taxes and aristocratic societies in most other countries just don't give me the same warm and fuzzy feeling. I'm a dual citizen by the way... England and USA... I love my family's home land, but the USA is where I chose to live and I never regret it and am thankful for it everyday.

His formula for making money from this might have been gross but it was successful. I just wish I could think of something that would captivate people as much as his tv does, (but for the greater good of course, not hollywood hero status and to give my daughter a job)
As for Tori, I have worked with babes beyond her physical level and never have any trouble. My gf does me just fine, and tho I still notice beautiful human attributes around me, it is perhaps just admiration of good design , just like what strikes me when I come across decent buildings and stuff... Tori doesn't do anything for me whatsoever. I guess her 'frontage' might be interesting if one were studying silicone or whatever the hell it is she's made from... but I agree with mattyb, I have seen more attractive animals in a paddock. Aaron was as ugly as Yoda and knew as much about captivating the audience as he knows about The Force too, so I guess we should pity her more and sledge her less.

I've been away from the boards for awhile due to family health issues just to come back and find these remarks from fellow enthusiasts......which I hope are stemmed from sheer boredom ?
These things make me want to be a closet BMW owner.I'd expect remarks like this only from adolescants.(the negative sarcasim).
I met the man many years ago, and he was just trying to "mix it up" alittle and make TV less of the same. It was also from his hand I recieved my first S.A.G. card.
I hope for your own sakes...that your as pretty as you think you are and at least a tenth as bright.
But I doubt it !:p

McCarthyism was primarily perpetrated by... Joseph R. McCarthy... and he went after actors. The Hollywood Blacklist to me was more of an internal battle of the industry in Hollywood... not like misinformed puppets proclaiming the end of the earth or the death of morality because someone handed them a pamplet on the street...
Its so rare that I see eye-to-eye with so many of your forum people... which isn't a problem... you are entitled to your opinion as much as I am to mine... just know that I will always be willing to offer tech help with BMWs which this board is primarily for, and I hope you all can say the same ;)
