Try the M countours, the borbet's are too popular. And plus I want to see how they look on an e34 before I get some.
one whipped puppy has them on his E34... if I'm not mistaken
Te Borbets on my car (see sig) are very close to the BMW style 18's. PO put them on.

Mine are Borbet type H but replaced the Borbet centers with roundels after 2 of the black Borbet covers came off...I think they're cheap (around $100ea.) new from tire rack...I like them cause they are EASY to clean and I like 5 spoke wheels.:D

...its a Touring not a sedan....but she IS wearing M-Contour replicas. True BMW M-Contours (Style 23) came on the e36 3/M3/Z3 M Roadster...so the offset is too high (41mm) for the e34 (11mm-28mm). You can now get this style wheel from the TireRack (it's the AT Italia Type 5 or AT Italia Type 5 Sport). I actually purchased mine from The Wheel Exchange back in 2000...but I don't think they sell this wheel anymore.

So let me get this straight, they will fit directly on E34s? Orrr let me know if they don't...

I like my M-Contours. Easy to detail. I was going to post a pic, but WTF happened to the old gallery?
Anyway, to clairfy - The TireRack AT Italia Type 5 or AT Italia Type 5 Sport come in a version designed to fit the E34. The original OEM's from the Z3 will not.

If they are off of an e36 3 series...they WON'T fit. If they are replicas (AT Italia Type 5) and have an offset between 11mm-25mm....they WILL fit.
We can't say yes or no by just looking at a picture of the wheel...we need the offset info which should be imprinted somewhere on the rear side of the wheel. Offset, many times can be indentified by a number following alpha characters "ET".....(i.e. ET:15)
If they are OE BMW wheels off the e36 3 series...the wheels will also have the BMW part number imprinted on them...again, if they are 3 series wheels....they will not "fit" your car as direct bolt ons.

I have a set of 17 x 8 fronts and 17 x 9 rears with Falken 451's about 2000 miles. And a brand new throwing star replica 17 x 8.5 with a new Falken 451 for a spare. Tires are 235/45/17 fronts and 255/40/17 rears. The best looking set of stars I have ever seen.
$2300 plus shipping.
