Well just before my 535i was scrappedI took what I could off of her, dash clocks, any electrical boxes, swapped the steering wheel over and also took out the cool air vent to rear seats. Below is my new car- E34 525iA SE- with me fitting what I could. Did a search for the OBC swop, and read the artical from bmwe34.nets site, very useful. Swopped over the temp sender too. Lastly I took the center consol out to fit the air pipe to the rear seats. Thought I'd screwed up as never done that before and was making a real 2 and 8 of it. But its all back and working 100%.:D . Feel like i have an SE now, the car is registared as an SE but was standard spec too me. The only thing I could not do was get the OBC info up on the dash, even if i swopped over the instrument consol and the stalks on the wheel.:( But other wise its all ok.
