I am getting conflicting reports about a replacement CCM The stealers say it must be 61351388614 whereas others say any E34 part will do the job. Currently I am having problems with anotherpart number so I am very keen to sort this out.

On the ETK that part number is for the CCM for all E34 & E32s. What is the other part number you have?

Check Control Module is correct. And it doesn't matter, that part number is the same all over the world.

Check control module sits next to the Light control module by the relays.in the box on the left hand side in the engine bay. Is yours a 525 or a 535?
Check to see what CCm you are carrying and let me know. My car is a Japanese import
