I tried for awhile but was warned (twice) to stop linking people to bimmer.info!

the e46 forum is good, but the e34 forum is lacking!

The guy called me a spammer because I linked and suggested people seach here for their answers.
e34 owners need to help each other, the admin there doesn't see it that way.

Very sad to think there are E34 owners left ignorant of the fixes for their cars.

I agree...the e46 board is the only worthwhile board on that site. If no one is visiting your e34 board, it certainly would help to link people to boards where people can provide answers rather than giving **** about it. If the board is good enough, people will come.

No one gives a crap on Rennlist when people link to Pelican or vice versa. Oh well, I'm never over there anyhow.

I started helping, and they blasted me. So, now people just get my PM to come here - sad.

Every post I made was a link to the possible solution to their issue, it seemed like the right thing to do.

I think that if Ed sees a link to another site that contains useful info, he is ok with that!

I complained to the admin that NO ONE helps these people and it is unfair when all the answers are here, but he was not interested, his sponsors were his priority.

That is too bad. This forum is great and has helped me many, many times which, i believe, is the purpose. I just hope we can keep this forum going.

it's a quagmire over there for e34s, really for e39s too. mostly in the e39 section one guy with a big wallet mods the piss out of his car while the rest drool or critique- kinda gay really. I like it here for my future e34 needs, bimmerforums is a good all around forum as well.

Have you guys been warned yet???
The admin has removed my signature (with a link to bimmer.info) within the last week or so... I just put it back, what a dick.

The admin there, Jon, only wants people to look at his site, if you don't find the answer there, he doesn't want you to find it.

After he warned me, I have asked him to let me help people with direct links to their solutions, and the answer was no, I pointed out that about 40-60 people "view" the threads, but NO ONE gives any input or help, he did not respond.

The guy sounds like he's has been following the laws of North Korea, his followers are only allowed to read what he wants them to!!!

everybody was a nube at one time or another, problem is when someone posts a fix or cure and its total shyt and fux up more than it was supposed to help. Here theres a few stupid replies and myself and others try to get there before bad info is taken to heart. Use common sence and you will prevail!
