I'm looking for nothing special. I just want to replace what I have. I had a Pioneer w\o Amplifier. How many series are compatible? What is my actual Part Number? What part numbers will work?

Do you want a BMW radio or an aftermarket radio?

I would like something just simple to hook up with existing wiring that works.

What model radio do you have? if its old most likely you will need to re-wire it.

Try looking on Ebay for one that looks exactly like yours, best bet. Do you also have a CD Changer in the trunk? If so, you will definately need to look for the same radio as in your car.

Here's a link to one on Ebay the guy tells me will fit but it just seems to be one simple input. I have the original Pioneer without Amplifier and No CD Changer.

Can't remember exactly, but, that connector doesn't look quite like the older e34 connection that I had on my Pioneer headunit. I would look for one that has your connector at least. Since no CD changer, this might open it up a bit for you. I think Alpine and Pioneer both made radios and changers for the older E34's and there were compatibility issues between them. The Bavaria looks like it is for a newer BMW.
