View Full Version : Just fitted fog lights

I've just fitted a brand new set of aftermarket fog lights to my 1990 model 525i. The looms and dashboard switch were in place (factory fitted). The problem is they don't work.
I've checked everything that I am capable and confident of checking-fuses connectors etc. I haven't looked at the lamp control unit though. Any suggestions would be most appreciated:(

This might sound like a dumb question, but did you turn on the parking lights atleast? On the factory circuit, the fog-lights wont turn on until you have at least the parking lights on as well. (They'll stay on with the headlights on too, but will turn off with the high beams activated)

Uber, whatever they pay you is not enough!!!. That link is brilliant mate. Exactly what a dropkick like me needs when playing mechanic/electrician.
