Looks in great shape, is that a spoiler on the back, or is the boot open?

looks like a rock from the outcropping he's parked in front of.
Nick: damn she's pretty. Looking at snow is weird, considering its not even 10am and almost 90 degrees here :p

Hey Nick,
Send some snow up here will ya?
It's time for a ski and slide.
Snow brings some great and photogenic light, but your ride's got all the beauty and grace anyone needs!
Nice pic. :) nick

Yeah, thats a rock.... No ricey spoilers on this E34!!
The snow is nice down here, although the novelty wears off pretty quick on the walk to uni!!
Nick: You and the rest of the mainland crew could always arrange an E34 trip down here, take in some Targa rally action, and some snow too.
Yep, Tassie plates. I'd love some Munich-based plates, or even the NSW euro-look plates are cool.
Photo was on Mt Wellington.

Great shot Nick.
Let's hope the Targa continues, seems to be in a bit of financial strife :(
cheers,

Fingers crossed, Targa is an awesome event, which brings in quite a bit of tourist $$.

...... and an E34 M5 came second in the inaugural event, IIRC.
Nice photo!

2nd and 3rd in 1992 from memory.
One driven by the late new zealand-born, ex-F1 driver, Denny Hulme (was a dealership entred car from memory)
The other driven by Ross Brindley, a BMW enthusiast from the Sydney or Melbourne. His exact quote was "... this is my wifes car, and I don't wanna bend it."
No more E34 M5's since :(

Not true! Steve Gasparinatos and Tony Wilson drove one from about 1996 to about 2002. They wrote one off in Targa 1998 (i think), so Steve went an bought another one and started racing that. They came second in class in 1997 I think.
Steve is a fellow Taswegian, I'm suprised you havent seen his car around
Regards

I hear there was a white car in there. Wonder how many of the 43 were white?

Denni Hulme drove a white one to second place in the inaugural (1992) Targa.
And as mentioned below, Ross Brindley came third in his Calypsorot M5.
Cheers
