This is the system before it is powder coated so you can see how it is manufactured.

Thats really lame. It would be bad enough to have quad tips on dual exhaust, but having quad tips on single exhaust is crossing the line...

No other way on some cars, otherwise one has to remove the spare wheel box and the fuel tank is in the way.
All E32 with quad pipes have the same system.

Quad exhausts look aggressive! Of course, not any more practical than the watermelon mufflers, the ricers use.

I saw an E39 540 with quad exhaust at my Indy's. Upon closer inspection I saw it had this stupid screw-on dual outlet on the right side.
Was one of the most lame things I've ever seen.

I like the look but if there is no function (let alone extra weight) it would never fly past a casual late-night thought in the bottom of a beer glass. The only thing that can (half) justify those is an e39 M5.
We need something better to talk about.
Greg, time to stop making stickers and build a turbo for your 540. It wasn't mean enough on tv. Next time has to be better. I'll help... Maybe there's a way to run the exhaust down both sides too... (snorts!) :D Nick

has anyone seen or have a photo of a quad exhaust on E34? Just wondering how it would look on the car...
