Hey guys, I started my new job a few days ago as an assembler for industrial size pumps and decided to make my own fan clutch removal tool at my neighbor's shops. I just need to know what size the 4 bolts are on the water pump pulley. I would look myself, but my car is at my friends house because we've gone surfing for the last 3 days. Thanks again, Andrew

I drilled holes with a 5/16ths drill bit and then had to ream them out a fair bit with my die grinder. That's just the biggest bit I had handy. I think the holes need to be a little over 3/8ths of an inch, since it's a 10mm head on the bolt.

Copy cat... hehehe. Actually, all you need is one hole and the other side brace against the bolt.

i took out 2 of the 10mm bolts then used 2 pairs of waterpump pliers against each other , or if you have one , a 32mm spanner for the viscous fan
