Desperately need new ecu!

I need a new dme or just the chip from a 93 or 94 540i. I just swapped in a 4.0 and I need to replace the chip or ecu to start her up. Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

If you just need a chip, what DME are you planning to put it in?
I am not sure why you just need a chip as the chip is only good in the 404 DME.

I assume you did an m60b30 to m50b40 swap and have the DME from the 530?

I can supply a stock chip for $25 or a performance version.

The m60b30 and m60b40 both use the 404 dme. I need an m60b40 chip or if the old m60b30 chip can be reprogrammed. just let me know what you can do.
