I replaced my rear door panel last week. I posted a thread describing how the old broken panel had an extra clip holder that I needed to rig up on the replacement one that didn't have it. I went to install the ash tray that I removed from the old panel and I couldn't get it to fit.
Upon closer inspection, the replacement panel has a wheel or sorts that looks like will control the ash tray movement and track. The old panel has a lever arm that rode along a track on the ash tray.
I'm comtemplating taking the panel off the door and swapping the black insert of the old one in so that I know the ash tray works, but as a matter of curiosity I'm asking this here.
