LOL, well at least I got you guys to look at my thread ;)
I'm gonna be doing a bit of maintenence and spending some money on my sweet thang in the very near future, and I just had a few questions.
- What brand of oil do you guys prefer?
- Should I go for stock spark plugs?
- K&N vs. OEM Air filter?
- Any other suggestions of cheap maintenence I could do to freshen her up?
Thanks a bunch,
- Jeremy

well, at least i will answer....
LubroMoly Vollsynthase 0W40 with 2 cans of the Liquimoly molydisulfide additive.
either stock from the dealer or single electrode copper or iridium, dont do platinum 2 or 4 electrode
ITG air filter, better than K&N and no MAF oil issues.
do distributor rotor and cap, flush the brake fluid with DOT4 or 5.1, do whatever the hell else is within your budget and it itching to be fixed or "enhanced"

use stock plugs, dont use botch platinums unless they have BMW stamped on them, their aftermarket ones suck.
Use the OE airfilter

I usually bring the car to my mechanic then proceed to sit down and read some magazines or newspapers.
Sometimes I'll have a cup of coffee too. Milk and sugar. Wish they had cream :(
When all is done I get up, pay, and *poof* my oil is changed!

Alright, so I'm going with Lubrymoly or Castrol.
Bosch plugs (oem)
OEM air filter
What about plug wires? Is there an advantage to spending big money, or should I just keep it OE here?
