OEM blue struts?

So while I was in the process of putting on new wheels to see which i liked, when I noticed my rear struts are a bright blue (behind the dirt). I did a search and came up empty handed....

Are these blue struts OEM or aftermarket? I believe the front two are black OEM, so I didn't think it made since to have two aftermarket rears. Here's a pic...

My rears were blue too. I think they were the original ones. Unless they were replaced at 30k miles or so.

Alright, thats good to know. I never met the previous owner so you never know what they could have done ;)

Red I suspect means Sashs Turbo (sport setting). Pink means that maybe they were once red... hahaha... who knows!

Have a look for the brand name on the shocks. My original ones are an orange colour and clearly have 'Boge' on them and just above the Boge is the BMW roundell.

I'll go dig the part number out and look them up, then we'll know. For all I know they could ever have been changed, or changed for the wrong ones...
