isn't that the kind of question you should have asked BEFORE buying them?

:) Sorry, couldn't resist. Post to www.m5board.com or the Yahoo list--people there will know!

Are these off of an e31? If so they should fit....but Ive never seen an e31 with that BMW stamped on it. If you have an M5 currently, these are about the same size arent they? Your front rotors should be 315mm and if those are off of a e31 they should be 324mm. How much did you have to give for them? Its kind of hard to understand that ebay page....my german is rusty.

They are from a E32 750iL. The rotors i bought with the calipers are 324mm also! My rotors are 315mm correct! I bought them for 400euros. So what do you say are they going to bolt on?

yeah they should. Check http://www.bmwe34.net/e34main/upgrade/brakes.htm

Either way. If your getting rid of your M5 calipers or if you decide you dont want these, I might be interested.

So how much is 400euro? How can you read all that? I am guessing you know german?

why are you putting those brakes on your m5. they are not ///m brakes. dont m5 brakes have a ///m symbol on them? that might not matter to you...anyway...they should....i speak and read german aand i can assume at this point that those would fit your m5..

The ///m symbol comes with the 4 piston calipers, not the simple... (The 4 piston calipers on the M5 were installed in 1995 and the were "big" 345x32 front and 328x20 rear) i have one piston calipers with 315x28. So it would be an upgrade!

These should bolt directly on to any E34. They look to be the 4 pot calipers best know in the US as coming off the 840 and 850. (The 850 also had a large single pot option as well)

However, if you have the Nurburgring M5 with the Nurburgring brake kit, then I think these brakes are a downgrade.

You could put these on your 520 of course but I doubt you have enough engine in that car to even get the brakes up to working temps. :D
