I was the OP that inquired about the CF hood. But as the previous posters said earlier, I don't think this will fit the wide grill of the 94 & 95 models. Thanks anyways.

i wonder if the carbon fibre hood would reduce weight enough to make a difference.
Im guessing it would also be louder unless you put sound deadening as well.

Man those riced out honda's will sometimes get you though. E34 = heavy, automatic tranny = poop acceleration

poop accel, untill i hit 60, then they are gone! most of the ricing here is cosmetic, maybe with a "performace" cone filter that sucks hot air from the radiator....
i removed the AC and rear seats, so with me in it its actually about 100 pounds under stock curb weight.
If it's for just under $500, then the CF hood is ok... assuming it's not a crap weave.

This is a Erebuni hood by the way (only bought it cause it was cheap and i needed a new hood) This one was "blemished" so it was a great price.
And just how did you manage to get this 'blemished' hood? You call them up in the States? :)

yeah if you're going from a dead stop up a steep ass hill. i was on the highway today and some douchewagon in a honda tried to race past me. at first i thought i'd hit that stupid rumble strip, but then i realized the sound was his exhaust. (edit: i don't hate hondas i used to own one, but those goddamn fart cannons, ugh). short story shorter, he downshifted cause his vtec is the ****, i got on the magic kickdown button and poof he disappeared.
