BMW 518i Engine wanted !!

Hi folks,

I was hoping someone could help me source an engine for a BMW M Reg ('94) 518i, 8 Valve, Chain driven, single overhead cam.

I have been around so many places but it seems that they dont come around very often or the price they are asking is way to high.

If anyone has any leads, i would be very much appreciated.

Have you checked out FAB breakers? I don't know what your budget allows, but they have second hand M43 engines for 595.00 GBP. There's also J&S BMW Spares which cater to mostly the e32 and e34 crowd, so they may have a spare M43 laying around. Here are their links so you can look around their websites. Good luck Ax.
