OT that looks like my old neighborhood in Cali. The lights look great on a black car. nice job.

where the hell is the roundel?
You shaved the roundel! :| Somehow, it makes the car look like a wrecker now :(

wrecker?
sounds kinda cool, but im guessn its a bad thing...
:(
Wrecker.. you know.. those cars that nobody really wants and is just waiting to be scrapped or parted out?
The only reason I say that is because the back is just a blob of black. A roundel... a badge.. or even chrome exhaust tips would be good :) Again, that's just me. The smoke job IS very nice ;)

now that looks really awesome. i thought about doing that, i'm glad to see somebody else experiemented, turned out great. i work at a plastics factory and have access to heaters, benders and plastic, but i can't get the original factory lens off, the glue is impossible to get out. anybody have any idea how to get the factory lens off? some sort of adhesive remover? i could make clear taillights/turnlight/parking lights and sell them for super cheap if i could just figure out how to get the old lenses off without cutting them out.

My white e28 M535i had black lights like that, she looked like an alien from the rear :D
What was suprising tho was that you could see the lights very well, i guess in bright sunlight you could see them even better than stock lights.

The smoked lights look good, but you definitely need to throw some contrast in there, and keep the roundel!
