One of the easier things on our cars, even for people with less experience in soldering electronics.
Just did that on one of my friends car which had always the "nice" alarm.
Here a good instruction from Sean

To bad we don't live closer. I have so many fuses and relays in my garage it's not funny. I had twenty LCM's and other high dollar moduals, but gave them away to other people who needed them, but had little money. I live right down the road from a strip yard or salvage yard filled with BMW's. Shipping just costs so much these days.

Lenny, if you still have some, I can give you the address to send them in Germany. We are just building up in Germany test boards with the complete wiring looms of E32 735 and 750 to simulate tests of all modules such as GM, RM, CCM, heater control module, sword, LKM, and so on.
I asked the members on the German 7-Forum to donate old wire looms, modules, plugs etc. to Reinhard new Munich. He is an electronic expert, has his own company and designs and produces motherboards in small series. He has a 750 E32 and repairs for all members for small money all electronic modules.
So if you want to donate your parts, which you can get from the Schrottplatz/scrapyard nearby, let me know.

That is his work shop

I gave away almost everything I had except relays and fuses. I'll keep those in case I need them. I will however remember to grab everything I can the next trip to the scrapyard. I'll keep the address you gave me.
