"Before searching" should be "Before posting", no?

Maybe I'm the only one that actually read the sticky?? :D

Ah haha... I read it too. And almost made the same mistake as you. But some of us read the sticky carefully ;) You will see later in that same paragraph it says "If you do not find your issue in the archived threads, the next step is to use the “search this forum” tool at the upper right". Thus Ed's words, "before searching" are not wrong, but they could be found a little confusing.

I still maintain that paragraph should start out "Before posting".

"Before searching, please look in the archives and/or conduct a thread search"... that makes no sense. "Before searching, you should search"???
