Hello all,
Need some help on deciding. I want to swap my door panels, and dash pad to an 88 735 setup. I was at the junker today, and will let all necessary components go for $300. Some mods will need to be done to the door for the defrost vent backs to fit right, and for only one screw mount on both front doors. Other than that all will fit.
I have posted a poll, so if you guys and gals could help decide?
Thanks.......Felix
I'm pretty sure that you've turned off about 80% of the forum population by using "tuff" instead of "tough". Not to be harsh, but that's the reality of these forums ;)

So what? if your that anal then don't reply. Are you sayng that no one can figure out what the word TUFF means? Or is it too much slang for this forum. I do notice alot of short hand here, and how others like to get everyones attention. So if I got your panties in a bunch, I'm not loosing any sleep. :D

As for the topic, I think it sounds good, but I don't know the difficulty in doing so.

I dont understand why you want to do this. Is the 735 interior better?

I have compared the door panels. I have found the 7 series panels seem to hold up better. All of my panels are seperating. The ones I came across today on the 7 today are perfect, and are out of an 1988. Also I noticed that the insert on the 7's are behind the main panel, and not glued in the front like the 5's. I have also considered doing fiberglass panels on all four doors.

I'm not one to piss and moan about grammar- on a public forum none the less. Perhaps the grammar nazis should spend their time teaching english instead of bitching? I voted you're ****ing nuts, because an interior swap is always a pain in the ass- you've got the littel clips everywhere and this is bulging and that doesnt line up- I'd save my money and my headache.

Kessler? I claimed the interior, sans seats.

I am going from beige to black. lower half of interior will be black, and upper will stay beige. I'm going for the Guinness look.

I don't need the seats. I need the panels. Center console is black already. I will need black carpet though.

Apparently you don't take constructive criticism well. It seems you don't know the characters in these forums at all. If you're looking for the opinions of those that have the most to contribute, you would do well to take in what I said before.
EDIT: I don't have issues with what you posted, I have merely told you that just by having that there, you will most likely miss out from posts that would probably help you the most. If that's all right then continue on your merry way.
EDIT 2: I want to make it clear that this is nothing personal. It's not an attack against your ability to spell or whatever. I'm saying that should this have been a technical post, the likes of Shogun, Bill R, and other technically inclined folks would most likely skip over such a title, that's all :)
EDIT 3: My 2 cents... GO ALL THE WAY!

That "tuff" thing atually made me misunderstand this whole thread.
