Just bought some ngk plugs from a web resource, should I hit up a local parts store for wires or get some OEMs from BMA? Does it really make a huge difference?

The rule of thumb that I've heard about wires is...

1) stay stock (upgrading is a waste of money)
2) don't worry about it until your harness goes bad.
