My car is:
1995 BMW 530i
77,000 miles
I think I am having an electrical problem. About three/four weeks ago the passenger side window stopped working. I can hear it faintly, but the window will not go down.
Around the same time I noticed that sometimes when I would turn the key in the ignition the car wouldn't start. If I pulled the key out of the ignition, put it back in and tried again, it would start.
I went out yesterday morning to drive the car and the first sign of trouble I had was when I turned the key to unlock the doors they responded slowly - a stuttered unlock. Then the car would not start. The sun-roof still opens, but none of the car interior windows will open. The radio doesn't come on. However, the LED lights/display on the dash and the center console appear to be working (possibly slightly faint).
To me, it seems like an electrical issue. However, I don't understand how some electrical parts (the sun-roof) work, but others don't.
Please help! Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
