I have a 1986 535i e28. There is an annoying buzz coming from the lower left portion of the dash when I insert and turn my key to position 2 or beyond. Many times the sound continues even after the car has started. The buzz sort of "fades in" after just a few seconds and then gradually goes away once the car is started and idling. I think it is emanating from a small, black box behind my headlight switch, though I do not know what this is a warning for. Sometimes if I flip my keyswitch on to where the sound starts and then turn it back off, the sound still continues for a few seconds. What could this be? I would just disconnect this, but I don't want to quiet a legitimate warning if this is such. PLEASE HELP....
