I know its supposed to be lifetime but I believe teh autos had the "lifetime" fluid as well. So is there a general census on how often it needs to be changed?

TIA

Jeff, how often do you change your diff fluid?

of it being changed, then I 'd do it with my next oil change, and then after as scheduled.

I try to keep the fluid changes all going along with the oil/inspection lights, that way it's all timed out with the next oil/inspection. oil, trans, plugs, coolant, diff, wires, belts and hoses.....it never stops $$$$$

Do you replace all this every time the inspection light turns red?

Oil/filter gets done twice (three green no reset, then again at red + air filter)

Coolant, Trans & power steering annually at the last oil change of the year.

Diff oil, brake fluid, belts hoses all go with inspecption lights. Or with the associated repairs.

Don't forget to flush the air in the tires, only use the bottled Bavarian stuff freash from the Alps.
