Black part between the lights that holds the tag. Should have been on all the 5 series models--it looks great IMO

Be warned that the trunk release button is unique on the M5. If you have a non-M E34 and you don't replace that button, there will be an unsightly gap surrounding the button after you've installed the license plate frame.

If you look closely at the pic above, you'll see that there's a rubber ring surrounding the trunk button. If you don't have an M, then you don't have that ring.

Sorry Charles, I don't wanna cost you a sale, but I thought people should be warned that, without buying the M trunk button, it won't look exactly as it does in your pic.

Doesn't look that bad on a none M5 model, especially if you have a darker color. If you have a lighter color, like my white 540, you can put some black tape around the button if it really bothers you. I guarantee nobody can tell the difference at 50/50 (50mph from 50ft). Still think it's a great improvement in looks to the back of the car.
