i'm not sure which wheels to get, both come in 18" as a package, and both are the same price £750 for the set

First set looks the best! :D
Hmmm I digress. The "Type I" look is a bit chunky for our 'chunky' cars in my opinion. If the second one had a lip to it, it'd be perfect!

A lip would make it a lot better. But I am very fond of the first set, my buddy used to have those on his E36 M3 they looked awesome. He now has E39 525i and a E30 M3.

i have to agree that if the second set did have a nice lip on the outer edge i would buy them in a snap , but i do like the schnitzer look , i can't afford the real thing though as they're pretty much £400 a wheel, but i think chunky wheels on a chunky-ish car would suit it down to the ground

I would get the first ones if you can get them without the centers

I think you're seeing a pattern here, first set. Just remember though, if you really like the second rim, go with what YOU really want.

The First one's look Schnitzer like and the holes where the lugs pass through look kinda cheap since you can't cover them. Also you'd have to verify if the clip-in center caps from later bimmer's would fit.
I'm gonna suggest the less popular second ones because they give off a "wider" look since there's big spokes *and* a lip between them. Also, even if the holes can't be covered up, they atleast made some effort to make busy up the area with the tiny holes in between. I'd have to agree with the "rice look" thing though, since I've only seen these on 350z's.
Best thing to do is have tires mounted on 2 of one, and 2 of the other and have them put on the car. Look at both sides and make your choice then. Shops used to be called "Tire salons," and fitment was part of the service. You could always have them put on and looked through first.

I relly like the first one, the color of the metal would really stand out agisnt the color of your car, the 2nd set would blend in a little to much
I just wish i could get a pair myself! but being in the US makes it a lil hard :P

Get the M Parallels, thats what I am planning on doing. They are 18s as well.

Type I 's look great, but I'd get them in a sixteen inch instead of 18. They look like mean SS wheels that way. 18's aren't always what's pimp!
