2001 530i

I worked on a 2001 530i today. I was wondering if anyone else is impressed with some of the changes made. I kind of like those water hoses, the way they clamp together. They also have the expansion tank completely separate from the radiator, which is definately a weak point on the e34's.

Yes, the E39 528/530i, 6 cylinder engine, are the best handling non-M car. Why? Rack and Pinion steering. The more powerful E39 540i doesn't have it, no room, and doesn't have the same feel.

The 2001-03 530i wtih 5 speed and sport suspension is the one the get as it has the more powerful, at least at that time, 225hp engine also found in the E46 330i.
