i just don't think ignoring it is going to be a good move on our behalf, i am not saying that ed is not doing his job. I am just wondering where the mods are, and if ed doesn't visit very often should we give other people to power to delete threads like this?

fast Eddie and fast eddie is Ed... If you recall there were a lot of other mods at one time but Ed changed it after some mod abuse. And since its Ed's site then Ed does what Ed wants to with it.

There was a big slug fest in February over the role of the moderators. The understanding that I came out of it with is that Ed favors minimal moderator activities and does not want censorship or the board's personality being controlled by a few moderators. Do a search if you want the details.
