I never got a response from the older thread(s) about removing the lock cylinder from the glovebox latch so I got bored and figured it out...Really simple, theres two plastic hooks holding onto the cylinder...just pry both back and push out the tumbler BUT the lock pins/springs arent held by anything so they will fall if you dont hold them in place with your fingers.
In the event that the springs and pins fall out like they did on me, do your best and keep an eye where they fell out and landed. You are going to have to play trial and error with getting the right combination. You know you have it right when all the tops of the lock pins are flush with each other(and you can turn the key ;))
I will post pics of the latch and the two plastic hooks I was talking about later when i get off work...
