Vehicle shutting off

Hey guys. Sometimes when I am driving, my vehicle will just shut off, sometimes it restarts immediately sometimes it doesn't. The check engine light didn't come on until about 2 months later. When i checked the code it said Throttle wide open throttle switch. Do you guys know if this would cause my problem or it's something else.

Dude! What kind of vehicle have you got? What make, model, year and month of manufacture, country it was manufactured for, and if it's a BMW, what are the last seven letters/digits of the serial number?

DME relay? loose ground wire?

the kickdown switch is under the accel pedal, if it gets stuck it will throw the code, probably has nothing to do with shutting the car off.
