Hello!
I've got a european 92 E34 automatic with a none-vanos M50B20 engine. I'm thinking of swapping it out for at M50B25-engine with more grunt and torque.
A search of part numbers tells me that i need to change the air filter box, mass air flow sensor, engine controll unit and engine wiring harness. The exhaust should be changed but it's not required. Otherwise the parts are all the same.
Also, the specific engine I'm thinking of is from a 525iX. From what I understand I can swap the oil pan and pickup from my B20.
Anobody done this swap? Input?
