Gauge Pod - display works intermitently

If there is a message on, like "FOGLIGHT", it prohibits you from checking the time, avg speed, etc. display. Im talking about the display that is activated by depressing the left hand side directional stem. Under normal conditions it works because last time I replaced the foglight, it came back on.

Do I lose that display until the item is fixed or is there a way to override it?

Malfunction warnings override any input from the driver. So until you fix the issue that is causing the fault message, you won't be able to use the regular OBC information functions.
