New Member 1995 525i

Hey everyone,

I have been reading here for a little while and decided to join. I have a 1995 525i that we are doing some major work on. I will post pictures when it comes out of the shop.
I have owned a 1979 - might have been a 78- 530i and a 1976 2002 and I occassionaly get to drive a 2000 740i. I have liked them all.
I was wondering also if I could get some help with my project. I need a good wiring diagram for this car. I have used bentley, haynes and alldata and still don't have the info I need.
What I really need is a pin out diagram for the big round connector in the engine compartment. Not the diagnostic round connector but the one to the engine harness. Any help would be appreciated.

When we get this done -- I hope about 2 weeks -- I will post pictures.

Uhm.... that big round connector should be the diagnostic connector... atleast on my 95 it is. The text picture isn't that great, but follow the numbers to their respective function on the chart a little ways down the page.

The data link connector has 8 pins on the inside circle and 12 on the outside circle. The engine harness round connector has 10 on the inside circle and 15 on the outside circle. So I guess I am looking for a pinout / pin out diagram for the engine harness connector. I found a diagram for the data link but not for the engine harness.
