Guys and Gals,
I just thought I'd do a quick report of my first year of E34 ownership.
* Driven just over 10,000 kms (now up to 185,000 kms).
* Serviced by specialist every 3 months using approved (dino) oil and BMW filters.
* A few small items sorted by me including door trims, carpet stains, console/window switch lights and radio.
WHAT HAS BROKEN
1. Erratic dash (so what, common problem with the early ones)
2. Dog bones replaced (by me)
3. 1 headlight globe
WHAT NEEDS DOING
1. Rear discs
2. New shocks (coming soon but still classed as 'okay' by specialist)
OVERALL JUDGEMENT
12 months of trouble free (touch wood) motoring in style and comfort. I am so glad I bought this car. After 12 months I still get a thrill ever time I drive it.
