E34 bonnet/hood same through the years ?

My bonnet/hood has a fairly nasty chip and was thinking of getting one from a breaker - prob cheaper than paintwork so do I need to make sure its from a 'facelift' car or would any old E34 bonnet fit (eg a 1989 on a 1994 car) ?

Secondly if anyone in South UK has one in good condition in Lachs Silver then please get in touch.

I know that for US cars 94-95 530i and 540i had a wide hood to go with the wide grills, and in 1995 the 525i got the wide hood/grill facelift too. It might be different in Europe/England though. Just look for a car with a wide grill, as it should have matching hood.

Oh yeah, for some reason I'd forgotton the wider centre line/section in the later cars. Easy to spot comparing the 2 cars together from photos off ebay. Same in UK/Europe as far as I know. Maybe even '93, but not sure. Cheers.

1995 here in Australia the 525i got the wide-grille facelift, so I would assume it's the same everywhere.
