Any one know where I can get body parts for my 1995 540 in Canada, I need a new hood and a trunk. So far all I can find is dealer parts at a cost of $2000.00 in Canada. I have foud these quite a bit cheaper in the U.S. but they won't ship to Canada.

Oh, they most certainly do. About 3-4 times/year to my address :) Yves or Patrick are great at it.

I've got access to a 540i/6 that's about to be parted. I stole the sport seats though, heh heh. rebuilt alusil motor, trans in good shape. perfect car for an auto to manual swap.

Phooey, you'll find quite a few places to source body parts in Canada. As you profile isn't complete, I'm not sure where you are and can't really help.

However, Racing King in the Toronto Area (http://www.racingking.net/Canada/Scripts/default.asp) stocks Hoods for $180 (see if he can locate a wide one) (http://www.racingking.net/Canada/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=665), but will not ship.

Check with body shops to see if they'll divulge sources as I know mine charged the ins. company approx. $400 for my hood.

I've already tried Racingking but they don't have the wide hood and they won't ship out west. I live in Calgary Alberta.
