Additional cost to the basic price:

36000 DM = 18.000 EURO or roughly the same in $ was the cost for the body mods, and additional 39.500 DM = 20.000 EURO = approx same in $ was the engine mod with turbo to 400 HP

I am sure if you BMW released something similar as an M5 you would like it, you are just not used to seeing it on the road as much. The E30 M3 has pretty aggresive body kit as well, stock, yet everyone loves it.
