I still don't where the road is but it might be in Russia (a big place...) - I think calmloki's link got the photos from here http://warnet.ws/foto/7363 - how is everyone's Cyrillic?

It's a Russian site fer sure, but the character of the vegetation seems more in keeping with Taiwan than Russia (see the leaf in the 5th picture of the warnet link you uncovered: http://warnet.ws/foto/7363). Like i have any idea what a Russian or Taiwanese leaf looks like! Felt jungle-ier. Wherever it is, that's a toehold track!
