Where is the Fuel ECU??

A real noob question I know - but forgive me coz I only just bought her and need to install a performance module (+35bhp apparently)

So where the hell is it then?

in the corner formed between the firewall and the fender, just below the black plastic cover held in place by 4 Phillips screws.

Aha! thank you Javier. I assume that the passenger side is the US version (ie right side) I am in the UK so it all gets a bit complicated when driver or passenger sides are mentioned

I meant US version (mine is German though).

It was there alright :D

I tried to fit the 'universal fit' module from Dragon Performance and it didn't fit! It just made the tickover rise to 2000rpm .......... which would make rush hour traffic interesting to say the least!

Decided to go for the simpler chip option from Viper - I just hope that gives better results
