Looks very good in my opinion. Anybody know where you can find/purchase them at?

home depot, fencing section
You can paint the headlight grilles to match your body color... then either buy or make a center grille with that stuff.. whatever it is.
It's kind of cheap looking don't you think?
Anyway I have the headlight grilles brand new if you want to buy them
I think part of the visual character of BMW has always been the front grill. The opposing vertical and horizontal lines set it apart from others, the e34 lost it with the later models. (sorry wide grill fans).
Monochromatic schemes like the one pictured remind me of a polyester liesure suit, kinda like a white belt and shoes with pants pulled up to the armpits.:D

that type of mesh is fine where it belongs, on a bentley
DIY at your local hardware store is best bet.
Bentley! No kidding!
* sorry in advance for spamming your thread with BC-GT pics ;) *

that bentley is sweet!!! I knew most people would find the grill hideous. I just thought it was kinda cool; made the car look a little more up to date.

I think the stock black and chrome looks the best because of the contrast. With the fence in there reminds me of the city neighborhoods or something.

I that stuff looks hot, but would best work on a wide grille, and in black so it doesn't throw off the look. Its strange with a narrow grille. You have a sea of horizontal bars, then this totally out-of-place tiny section of mesh.

Anyway, found out where you can get them at. Umnitza.com sells them, but you have to have them custom made. either send in your grill, or they can get one for you. I have yet to find out the cost. Waiting on an email from a rep.

Got any pictures of it on a wide-grille? I see you have one too, and I think that mesh would only look good on those since there isn't those huge voids of horizontal bars to throw off the look.
Here's the thing... most of these guys are referring to that rabbit fence like crap you see on a lot of honda's but man folks aren't remembering the Mustangs of the 70's having that mesh long before rice had it.

that's the crap in question that's associated with rice.

This is the look that most are hinting towards (the twisted wire look). Most commonly seen on Jag's, Cadillacs, Audi's and yeah, Bentleys as well; None of which are rice.
This is an example of what I'm looking for, in BLACK powder coat. That way you can achieve a modern look, and yet still be dark and non-vulgar like the original drying out vertical bars.
Again, I reiterate that this probably would look best on a wide grille where there isn't these HUGE sections of horizontal bars to throw off the balance.
As for Umnitza... their price is outrageous. I'll be hitting a bone-yard and making my own for sure.

No i dont have any pics of it on a wide grill, but i got the prices back:
Exact quote:
Complete grill is $75 for the grill from the dealer. (If u want a new grill)
$75 for labor
and $129 for the material
You send in your grill, you save $75, but you don't get a brand new one back.
