Hello

I thought I should register and say thanks for all the help (and laughs) this forum has provided with some problems I've been having over the last few weeks, most of the other BMW boards are full of owners of the newer cars, its nice to find a bunch of people who love the earlier cars (IMHO BMW lost it from the E36/E39 on-wards, they are not half the cars that the E30/E24/E32/E34 are)

My first job out of school was as a driver for BMW in 89-91 and I've been in love with cars of that era ever since and am now the proud owner of 525iT/5 I have also owned a 87 325is (190BHP, RWD and a LSD are just heaven, sorry but ASC is for girls!!)

Anyway I digress

Thanks for the help so far and more help in the future, this board rocks!

Ian

lol, just messing about with my web space and now got "great white" in my sig.

Before anyone mentions the E39 wheels, the one Achilles heel of the E34 was those silly metric tyres, currently scouring ebay for some non metric BBS Cross spokes to return it to its former glory!!

Where are you located? (don't say in a restaurant at the end of the universe!) I didn't think the E34s came with metric wheels/tires in the US.

Oh, now I see you have a 5-speed as well. Must be non-US. Congrats on great looking car, and a manual to boot!
