Wow.. That air intake looks very umm big. Looks like a damn supercharger intake. But man, replace the seats and the plastic parts, give it a 20 year cleaning(including the rims- those can be refinished/blasted)- and you will have a keeper.
It looks like she has a good heart and not too much rust from what I can see. I can't see any rust actually. This lady is gonna take some time to work in, but damn what a nice rack. bmaparts.com and bavauto.com are your friend. Great find bud!

Bavauto is way over priced Mike don't buy from them!
Mike forgot to mention it has a 3.5L block whereas it should have the 3.3 :)

Nice find, love the rims.
Where is the air filter, is it still the stock one or is there a pod hiding down deep?

I disagree, some of their prices are equal if not less than BMAs prices.

Was this car owned by a guy named Bill?? Where in Jersey are you?? Love the e28 body style, I could have bought this 535 5spd for $400, but it was gone by the time I went back 3 days later. :(

A great find and a worthy restoration project. The E28s are very fun vehicles. Modern Bimmers with wide tires are more difficult to get loose. The E28s feel much more lively at lower speeds = more fun!
