My chip will work in the brown labelled box (no EWS) but not in the grey box. (it has EWS) I am still trying to solve an issue with the EWS chip but when that is done I can ship you a chip. (If you had a way to read your chip and email the file, I can make you an EWS chip now).

If you have the EWS DME, I can take your order later when the chip is ready, and count you as one of the 10 in the group buy.

Not any longer. (at least not in combination with this discount)
I never had a single person interested in the chip trade-in offer during the 5 or 6 months I ran it.

I talked to by email yesterday; it didn't sound like it had to be 10 of the same chip. At first he wasn't even sure he had a chip for my car, but said he could try to program one if he didn't have it.

Is anyone in particular spearheading this group buy? If so, [s]he should tally the participants. It looks like there are a few people on the other boards who wanted in, too, but this deal has been building since April 7 - two weeks ago. I wonder if anyone has already gone off and purchased a chip independently?

At the price quoted, I'll be shipping by regular mail. All of you may want to possibly consider having all the chips sent by Fedex to one location and having them sent by Priority Post from there. Mikemaster, if I can send them by Fedex to your house and you can mail them out, I'll deduct the cost of the priority post envelopes from your order. Let me know if that's OK with you.

I was at the track today (spectator) and so didn't repond to your email yet. (I'm going out agin in 10 minutes) I suppose I'll have to ask everyone if I can give you their address because of the new privacy laws. :)

Just got another email from Mark D.

Everyone who said they were in, if you haven't done so already you should:

Send the PayPal payment ($165) to mdsylva@sympatico.ca and specify which chip they would like, by 11:30 pm April 28. (If anyone does not know how to use paypal, pm me.)
Then Mark can Fedex the chips to me on Thursday April 29 so I get them for Friday. (And hopefully have them sent out before the weekend, depending on when they arrive.)

I'd go with the 6800 rpm limit in a 5 speed. That is the same limit other companies use also.

That is the only difference.

I'd go with the 6800 rpm limit in a 5 speed. That is the same limit other companies use also.
