The welds actually don't look all that great, especially in the pic of the tubs/rear end, other than that, I absolutely love it
I'd drive it on the street.

yea, boogerwelds. Thats probably the reason there isn't many pics of the welds and probably why that car wont pass an IHRA or NHRA inspection. Just as well, he could have a pro set up the new rails for under 10k with the existing parts on it.

Nice. I like the motor but the body is ugly.

It's part of the MOPAR "Ugly But Faster Than Anything Else" era of the early/mid 60's genre.

I don't think there is even a class that car can run in, good chassis or no.. It would have to be on an exhibition basis only like the numerous jet and rocket cars on the circuit. No competition.
If there was a class it would more than likely be in IHRA. They are less restrictive in class types.
The only other alternative would be like the rail class where you have the choice of running naturally aspirated Nitro or blown alcohol but where the heck could you place a quad turbo'd 63 Plymouth? Import Day?
Actually, an engine set-up like that would be a good candidate for the Bonneville Salt Flats
