Hey, well im about to make the jump to the e39 and i testdrove one tonight im getting a killer deal on but it had the batrie disconnected to have the alternater repplaced, so i put the alternater back in and hooked up the batrie and started it up and it runs fine on the way back to my shop it had some rough shifts. Then i got there shut it off and started it back up and drove it around the block and it drives and shits like butter, no problems whatsoever. I was just wondering if that could have been a freak electrical problem from haveing batrie disconnected or jsut because the tranny is warmd up...
